Let one of our guides give you an exclusive tour of the farm, dating back to 1835. This 160-acre property is home to numerous historic sights such as our Icehouse and Spring house along with our animals and so much more! Learn not only about history, but the practice of sustainable agriculture through our guided tour and interactive demonstrations.
Learn More with Farm Chores
April – December

Put on your boots, get your hands dirty and help the farmers in their day-to-day chores on the farm! Learn about and interact with our farm animals whether that be venturing into our chicken coop, collecting chicken eggs, feeding the pigs and horses, or even bottle feeding the lambs or calves!
Experience Animal Walking

Know what it is like to be a farmer for a day! Enjoy a scenic walk on the farm with our friendly ponies or curious goats. Get accustomed to learning the basics of haltering and simple horsemanship skills. And get to know the unique personalities of our farm friends, all while exploring the farm property!
Bird-Watching and Walking Tour

Embark on a tranquil morning or afternoon bird-watching and walking tour, exclusively for our Inn guests. Discover the diverse birdlife of Mary’s Land Farm while enjoying a peaceful stroll through our scenic landscapes. This experience provides a unique opportunity to connect with nature and observe the area’s native birds.
Cozy Family In-Farm Bonfire
All Year Round

Enjoy a cozy evening under the stars with our farm bonfire. We’ll get the fire started; you bring the stories and marshmallows! A relaxed, guest-tended bonfire experience. We provide the fire, you create the memories. Perfect for a casual evening with friends and family.
Greenhouse Tour

Enjoy exploring our sensory garden or greenhouse. This immersive walkthrough is designed to engage all senses, offering a deeper connection with nature and an up-close look at how plants and pollinators work together to create the environment we cherish. Touch, smell, and see a variety of plants that play a crucial role in our ecosystem.
Private Animal Encounter (Cows)
- Cow Cuddling – $200 up to 8 only (All Year)
- Calf Cuddling – $100 up to 4 only (March-December)
Experience a truly unique and intimate connection with our gentle cows during a private animal encounter. Get up close, learn about their personalities, and enjoy a peaceful moment in their presence.
Private Animal Encounter (Small Friends)
- Lamb Cuddling or Lamb Bottle Feeding – $100 or $125 groups of 4 only (MidFebruary-May)
- Bunny Encounters – $85 groups, $20/additional guest (All Year)
Get up close and personal with our playful lambs and fluffy bunnies! This interactive experience lets you learn about their unique characteristics and enjoy precious moments with these gentle animals.
Aspiring Farmer/Homesteader
Interested in more of the knitty gritty details of farming or homesteading? One of our farm owners would be pleased to provide you with a more in-depth workshop on farming. Activities are geared towards adults.
